Great Interview of Erik Vervroegen
"I don't own a house. I don't have anything. My life's just in a bag and that makes me a good creative."

Android on the iPhone
This week some phenomenal geeks got an iPhone to run Linux, which means Android on the iPhone is inevitable, and it'll be here sooner than you think.
Hopefully this means Apple will realize the error of their ways, and open up their whole platform. Either way, I guarantee you that within the next 6 months, someone will dev an OS switching app, so you can run both.
Geekiest post ever. M

Tilt Shift Gone Wild
Tilt Shift photography has gotten huge this year, (if you want to get into on the cheap, check out lensbabies) but this is the first time I've ever seen it applied to video. It's pretty amazing.

The NEW Mr. Future?
Because Ale is too cool for Mr. Future, and has decided that he had no place in our group, we're going to need a new one. I nominate this guy, and I propose he comes out of Ale's paycheck.

MyStickies
MyStickies is a service that allows users to leave sticky notes on any web site. The next time you return to the site, the notes are still there.
I've set up an account for our group - that way we can leave notes for each other on relevant sites. It will be sort of interesting to see how many of access the same pages on any given day.
To start, go here and login using the following
login: anablog23
password: password
Then just install the extension for either firefox or flock, and you'll be good to go.

Flock
Here's the link to Flock. It takes a while to set up all your accounts, but once it's running, it's pretty incredible.

Another great Nokia site
The Unloader, a brilliant way to save the environment. I am sure Ale knows the people who made this.

The (not always) snow globe
Check out this project from Digit in London. It's a 'snow' globe iPhone app that does more than snow, it does any weather. Via Creative Review Blog.
Shanghai Superstar Designers
So, here's a bit of a Shanghai update. One of the people who presented today where called Jellymon and they've done some really cool work remixing style from 56 Chinese Minorities with new street style. The work above is for Evisu tho.

Find more videos like this on AdGabber
Glad this election is over? Me too!! (ok, you didn't answer. it's cool.) Combing over BannerBlog today, I came across this video (which actually came from AdGabber) and decided, for Mos Def, I could stand election talk for another day.
In this election, the Internet was a hot bed for everything. Check out Banner Blog's listing of their faves here. Can you imagine what we'll see in the 2012 election??

Can't remember where you parked? Just start the fireworks above your car
Cool idea, would be great if it was real with projected fireworks.

Come to the water.
I did a little research on the quote that someone taped to my cube wall. This is what I found. It doesn't look good for me. I could burst into flames at any moment.

"I know the guys who did this" part 3 - by Ale
Even though I've met the guy who designed the cover for Beck's latest album (not featured here) I much prefer the covers this other studio came up with. Shhhh.
Dash for the digital 'Stache
You want to give Jim's mustache a run for it's money? (And who doesn't?) Well, if you have the iPhone you can! Just download Mustache, the iPhone app that launched this week. Read it's review (along with some fun others) here on Gizmodo & also make sure you check out the applications full capibilties on iTunes (Spoiler alert! When you hold it up to your mouth, the digital mouth calibrates to move with yours!)
Happy Friday!

Adding to Matt's collection...
This handy clock could be a new companion for Matt's baking tin robot. Meet Kim, the talking clock. When you push her nose, she tells you the time...and her eyes glow red. Use her as an alarm & you'll be waking up to a crowing rooster. Alright!!

Chicago Spire
This soon-to-be tallest building in the US makes the ever-delayed Freedom Tower a 20th century leftover.
Brain Food
They serve these bad boys at the Google cafeteria. I'm pretty sure they're amazing for you.
If the picture hasn't given you a heart attack, read on.
Friday silliness
Sorry -- couldn't resist. Imbue is this company that does street art. Kinda. Check them out.
Design a new White House
"The brief was simple: what would the residence of the most powerful individual in the world, the White House in Washington, D.C., look like if it were designed today?"

For Good? Or for Evil??
Introducing the Rovio from WowWee. This is a super cool web cam/gadget...though I can only think of evil things to do with it. Spying...scaring the crap out of someone. It could be really fun! It might be the new nanny cam.
It real function is a new way to stay connected when you can't actually be in the room. It moves in every direction & the camera has several angles to view the room/people/conference/victim (evil laugh here) from. The extra cool thing is that you can talk through it. Check out the videos showing how it works.
Somebody else's phone
A Nokia online campaign, where you read/listen/watch somebody else's life going on via their phones. It feels like a scripted reality show put online. Interesting approach.
